ComScore released July’s YouTube viewing numbers, showing that YouTube still dominates all online video viewing, and viewership and average time spent continue to increase as well. The report also found that more than 184 million U.S. Internet users watched 36.9 billion online content videos in July, while video ad views totaled 9.6 billion.

- 85.5 percent of the U.S. Internet audience viewed online video.
- The duration of the average online content video was 6.7 minutes, while the average online video ad was 0.4 minutes.
- Video ads accounted for 20.7 percent of all videos viewed and 1.6 percent of all minutes spent viewing video online.
